There are three locations within the Sunshine Coast that you could be based in at the Department of Transport and Main Roads. The main locations ion this region are Gympie, Maroochydore, Caloundra and Mooloolaba - some of Queensland's most popular tourist destinations.
What's it like?
The region enjoys subtropical climate with warm to hot summers and mild and sunny winters. Gympie temperatures range from an average evening minimum of 6°C in winter to an average daily maximum of 31°C in summer.
Why live and work on the Sunshine Coast?
Live close to the breathtaking coastline of Rainbow Beach, the dolphins of Tin Can Bay and the hinterland of the Mary Valley. Other attractions include Noosa, the Great Sandy National Park, Imbil Forest Drive and Amama State Forest. If you're feeling lucky you can still fossick for gold at the Deep Creek Gold Fossicking Area.
